YEREVAN, JANUARY 7, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussed the progress of public administration reforms with the Cabinet.
According to the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, officials reported on the work carried out in strategic planning and policy development, service provision, institutional modernization, human resource management, participatory governance, and strategic communication.
Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan reported on efforts to enhance the strategic planning system and improve the quality of public services, as outlined in the 2023-2025 roadmap for the public administration reform strategy.
The discussion emphasized the introduction of Armenia's national digital services platform, the establishment of the legal framework for the digital architecture of services, and the full implementation of a unified mechanism for electronic identification and digital signatures.
Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan also addressed key components of the state’s main strategies, as well as ongoing efforts to develop and approve these strategies.
Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan elaborated on the initiatives aimed at enhancing institutional efficiency and human resource management. He discussed key challenges in these areas and outlined upcoming tasks.
Khachatryan stressed the importance of aligning existing human resource qualifications with functional requirements, implementing results-based performance evaluations, establishing flexible regulations for recruiting necessary talent, and ensuring competitive remuneration.
The Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister, Arayik Harutyunyan, outlined the efforts undertaken in participatory governance and strategic communication. He highlighted that a comprehensive analysis of the current situation had been conducted.
The discussion also addressed upcoming tasks, including planned initiatives aimed at enhancing strategic communication and advancing participatory governance.
