YEREVAN, DECEMBER 30, ARMENPRESS. President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan has extended condolences to the family of former U.S. President Jimmy Carter.
Carter died at the age of 100.
“Deeply saddened to hear of President Carter’s passing away and extend my sincerest condolences to the family of former President and the people of the United States of America,” Khachaturyan said in a post on X. “President Carter – a Nobel Peace Prize receiver, will remain a symbol of tireless humanitarian and diplomatic efforts, a politician who significantly contributed to international peace and security, as well as a committed advocate of democracy & human rights, economic & social development.”
