Armenian Prime Minister expresses condolences to families of Azerbaijani Airlines crash victims

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has expressed condolences to the families of the victims of the Azerbaijani Airlines flight J2-8243 en route from Baku to Grozny that crashed while attempting to conduct an emergency landing in Aktau, Kazakhstan after a bird strike.
“Condolences to the families of the victims of the Baku-Grozny flight. The tragedy that struck people living their daily lives cannot help but cause sorrow,” PM Pashinyan said in a post on X.
The Embraer 190 aircraft was carrying 67 people, including five crew members. 25 people survived the crash, according to preliminary reports.
