State budget revenues up by 9.6%, expenditures rise by 17.3%

 YEREVAN, DECEMBER 24, ARMENPRESS. In Armenia, both state budget revenues and expenditures increased in January–November this year compared to the same period last year.

The Ministry of Finance has published information on the implementation of the state budget of the Republic of Armenia for January–November 2024.

The state budget revenues of the Republic of Armenia amounted to 2 trillion 268.9 billion drams, reflecting a 9.6% increase (199.2 billion drams) compared to the same period last year. Meanwhile, state budget expenditures totaled 2 trillion 501.1 billion drams, marking a 17.3% increase (368.7 billion drams) from the previous year.

As a result, the state budget recorded a deficit of 232.2 billion drams, compared to a deficit of 62.7 billion drams in the same period of the prior year.
