Putin to participate in EEU summit chaired by Armenia’s Pashinyan, says Kremlin

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 24, ARMENPRESS. Russian President Vladimir Putin will participate in the upcoming Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting that will be chaired by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, TASS news agency reported citing Putin’s aide Yuri Ushakov.

Armenia currently holds the rotating presidency in the EEU.

“On December 26, in the Igora spa complex in Leningrad region, our president will participate in the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting, which will be chaired by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan,” Ushakov said, adding that the presidents of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan will also participate in the meeting.

Uzbekistan and Cuba will participate as observers.
