YEREVAN, DECEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS. Türkiye's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, during a meeting with his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock in Ankara on Friday, spoke about a ‘historic opportunity’ for peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the Turkish state-run Anadolu news agency reported citing sources in the foreign ministry.
“Highlighting a historic opportunity for peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Fidan called on third parties to encourage the process fairly and impartially,” Anadolu reported.
Other issues were also discussed, such as the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, the situation in the Middle East, particularly the situation in Gaza.
