Armenian Foreign Minister meets Iranian Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS.  Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with the Iranian Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts, Seyyed Reza Salehi-Amiri, who is in Armenia to attend the 8th Ministerial Meeting of the Ancient Civilizations Forum, the foreign ministry has said in a statement.

The interlocutors discussed steps aimed at the continued development of bilateral relations between Armenia and Iran, particularly in the fields of culture, public diplomacy, and tourism.

 They exchanged ideas on preserving cultural heritage, fostering cooperation in the field of art, and implementing new initiatives to promote contacts between people and specialists. The ministers also discussed regional developments.
