YEREVAN, DECEMBER 17, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has met with Anwar Gargash, diplomatic advisor to the United Arab Emirates president.
Mirzoyan and Gargash discussed the Armenia-UAE bilateral political agenda. Both sides underscored the positive dynamics in the relationship and readiness to enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest, the foreign ministry said in a readout.
The additional possibilities for deepening cooperation in trade, tourism, technologies and infrastructure development were outlined.
FM Mirzoyan stressed that it is necessary to continue active efforts to achieve significant results because the sides have mutual interest, political will and mutually beneficial prospects.
In context of promoting investments, the importance of mutual visits of business circles and organization of forums was highlighted.
Regional issues were also discussed. Mirzoyan presented the Armenian government’s vision for establishing peace and stability in South Caucasus, including the opportunities arising from the opening of regional connections.
The developments in the Middle East were also discussed.
FM Mirzoyan congratulated Anwar Gargash on receiving the Friendship Medal of Armenia.
