Prime Minister emphasizes importance of "Crossroads of Peace" project for South Caucasus

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 13, ARMENPRESS. At the session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the significance of Armenia's "Crossroads of Peace" infrastructure project for the South Caucasus, as it would create favorable conditions for transport and trade-economic development for all interested parties.

"The development of the transport and logistics potential of the EAEU is a key issue, as the capabilities of the member states are not being fully utilized. In this regard, I find it necessary to once again highlight the importance of the large-scale infrastructure project Crossroads of Peace for our region, which involves the creation and modernization of various transport and communication routes," the Prime Minister stated. He added that the program will create favorable conditions for all interested states in terms of transport, trade, and economic development, fully grounded in respect for the sovereignty and legislation of the countries involved, as well as the principles of equality and reciprocity.
