YEREVAN, DECEMBER 13, ARMENPRESS. Bad weather conditions have prompted delays and cancellations of flights at Yerevan’s Zvartnots airport on December 13.
Zvartnots spokesperson Lusine Moghrovyan told Armenpress the flights were cancelled or delayed due to heavy fog and low visibility.
“The arriving flights from Athens, Warsaw and Vienna were cancelled and they were re-directed and landed in Tbilisi. One flight from Moscow bound for Yerevan landed in Makhachkala, and another flight landed in Nizhny Novgorod. Four flights from Moscow and one from Mineralniye Vody were delayed. The aircrafts bound for Chisinau and Larnaca are now preparing for takeoff, waiting for clear weather,” she said.
