Ruling party faction MP David Arushanyan resigns mandate

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 11 , ARMENPRESS. David Arushanyan, a member of Parliament from the "Civil Contract" faction, has resigned his mandate. The press secretary of the Armenian Parliament Speaker, Movses Harutyunyan, confirmed the news in an interview with Armenpress.

Arushanyan was elected as an MP on October 26, 2022, through the national electoral list of the "Civil Contract" party. He was also a candidate for the position of temporary acting mayor of Gyumri but was not elected.
