2025 economic growth could be around 4,5-5%, says economist

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 11, ARMENPRESS. The expectations regarding Armenian economic growth in 2025 are a bit more modest, economist and Modex CEO Haykaz Fanyan told Armenpress.

“I think our expectations in 2025 must be more modest. The reduction in the next year’s state budget done by the finance ministry in the final phase also attests to that. Economic growth is projected at 5,1%. My expectations are lower, a bit lower than 5%. Perhaps it can be around 4,5-5%. That’s around the normal growth of the country,” the economist said.
