Turkish FM and UN Secretary-General discuss political situation in Syria

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 9, ARMENPRESS. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan had a telephone conversation with UN Secretary-General António Guterres, Tass reports, citing Türkiye's Foreign Ministry.

The two sides exchanged views on the political situation and the restoration of Syria.

They also discussed potential steps the international community, led by the UN, could take to ensure a stable political transition in Syria, deliver humanitarian aid, and help rebuild the country.
