Iran ready to support the Syrian government, people, and army - Araqchi

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 6, ARMENPRESS. Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi stated that Iran is fully prepared to support Syria’s government, people, and army as needed, emphasizing ongoing consultations with Iraqi officials regarding the situation in Syria, WANA News Agency reported.

Speaking to reporters after meeting with Iraq’s President in Baghdad, Araqchi said, “Our goal is to strengthen coordination and support for the Syrian government and people while enhancing alignment on political positions,” the agency said.
