FM Mirzoyan, Archbishop Gallagher discuss Armenia-Vatican partnership

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 6, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has met with Archbishop Paul Gallagher, the Secretary for Relations with States within the Holy See's Secretariat of State.

The meeting took place within the framework of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Malta.

The partnership between Armenia and the Vatican was discussed.

FM Mirzoyan and Archbishop Gallagher discussed the efforts for establishing stability and peace in the South Caucasus. FM Mirzoyan underscored the historic opportunity for achieving peace in the region and the clearly expressed political will of Armenia to not miss that opportunity.

Issues of humanitarian nature, as well as protection of cultural heritage were also discussed.
