Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister, newly appointed Ambassador of Oman discuss bilateral and multilateral agenda

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 2, ARMENPRESS.Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Paruyr Hovhannisyan, received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Armenia,  Hamood Salim Abdullah Al Towaiya (residing in Moscow), on Monday, on the occasion of presenting a copy of the credentials.

According to the Foreign Ministry, Deputy Minister Hovhannisyan congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment, wishing him success in his mission. He emphasized the traditional friendly relations between Armenia and Oman and expressed confidence that the Ambassador would make significant efforts to strengthen and develop bilateral cooperation.

During a private conversation following the credential presentation ceremony, the two officials discussed both bilateral and multilateral matters.

They highlighted the importance of expanding the significant potential for cooperation in areas of mutual interest. Hovhannisyan also introduced the "Crossroads of Peace" project developed by the Armenian government and discussed Armenia’s approach to the normalization of relations with Azerbaijan.
