MP Gegham Nazaryan leaves "Armenia" faction

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 30, ARMENPRESS. MP Gegham Nazaryan has decided to leave and will now serve as an independent MP. The opposition "Armenia" faction has issued a statement addressing the matter.

The statement noted that Nazaryan’s positions had recently diverged from the faction’s political direction and priorities.

"Following a discussion at the faction meeting, we suggested that the deputy leave the faction, leaving the decision to act as an independent MP up to him. He has agreed.

We are parting on good terms, with a commitment to maintaining political correctness towards one another," the statement reads.
