Each country has the right to decide its security measures - Putin comments on Armenia's absence from CSTO summit

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 28, ARMENPRESS.Russian President Vladimir Putin, during the CSTO summit in Astana, commented on Armenia's absence from the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) meeting, noting that each country has the right to decide its steps concerning security.

"Each country has the right to choose what and how it wants to do in the area of ensuring its security. I believe the current situation between Armenia and the CSTO is most likely influenced by internal political processes in Armenia," said Putin.

Armenia is not participating in the ongoing CSTO summit in Astana.
