Cabinet appoints new tax chief

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 28, ARMENPRESS. The Cabinet on Thursday confirmed Eduard Hakobyan as the new Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC). 

Hakobyan served as deputy finance minister until his appointment. He is replacing Rustam Badasyan, who resigned on November 18 after being asked to do so by the PM Nikol Pashinyan. 

Hakobyan thanked the Cabinet and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan for entrusting him with the crucial position.

The new SRC chief also thanked finance minister Vahe Hovhannisyan, as well as Badasyan, for the implemented reforms.
