Armenian FM congratulates Kaja Kallas on confirmation as EU’s next top diplomat

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 27, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has congratulated former Estonian PM Kaja Kallas on her confirmation as the EU’s next foreign policy chief.

“Sincere congratulations to Kaja Kallas on confirmation as the new High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs & Security Policy/Vice-President of the EU Commission. I look forward to our engagements & enhanced cooperation in further deepening Armenia-EU partnership,” FM Mirzoyan said on X.

The European Parliament gave on Wednesday the final approval to the new European Commission of Ursula von der Leyen. The new team will take office December 1.
