President Duda meets with Polish personnel of EUMA near Armenian border with Azerbaijan

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 27, ARMENPRESS. President of Poland Andrzej Duda has visited Yeraskh in Armenia’s Ararat Province and met with the Polish personnel of the EU monitoring mission (EUMA), President Duda’s office said on X.

EUMA is a non-executive, non-armed civilian Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) Mission. EUMA observes and reports on the security situation along the Armenian side of the international border with Azerbaijan.

EUMA’s deputy chief is Marek Kuberski of Poland.

The President of Poland is paying an official visit to Armenia November 25-27. Earlier he met with Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Speaker of Parliament Alen Simonyan in Yerevan. His agenda also included a visit to the EUMA observation post in Yeraskh.
