Vice Minister of Multilateral Affairs of Colombia congratulates Armenia on being selected as COP17 host country

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS. On November 26, within the framework of the 10th Global Forum of the UN Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) held in Portugal, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan met with Kandya Obezo Casseres, Vice Minister for Multilateral Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, during the meeting, Kandya Obezo Casseres congratulated Armenia on being elected as the host country for the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biodiversity (COP17) in 2026.

According to the source, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia reiterated Armenia’s commitment to promoting international cooperation to address environmental challenges.

 The two officials also discussed the development and expansion of bilateral relations between Armenia and Colombia.
