Iran and Saudi Arabia seek peace in the region: Iranian Foreign Ministry

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 23, ARMENPRESS. Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Majid Takht Ravanchi has emphasized that the Islamic Republic and Saudi Arabia seek to establish lasting peace in a growing and stable region, Iran's Mehr News Agency reported.

During his visit to Riyadh, Takht Ravanchi spoke with Asharq Al-Awsat, reaffirming the mutual commitment of Iran and Saudi Arabia to establish lasting peace and stability in the region, stressing that achieving such a goal requires ongoing bilateral and regional cooperation to address current threats and build a foundation for prosperity and security.

During the meetings with officials, Takht Ravanchi characterized the Saudi-Iranian collaboration as a “successful model of bilateral and multilateral cooperation,” aimed at promoting peace, security, and development at both regional and international levels.
