YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS. Armenia has officially become the 104th full member of the International Solar Alliance, the Embassy of Armenia in India has said.
The Indian foreign ministry serves as the depositary of the Framework Agreement on the Establishment of the International Solar Alliance, which Armenia signed on November 16.
Armenia’s Ambassador to India Vahagn Afeyan presented the ratification of the agreement signed by President Vahagn Khachaturyan to the Head of the departments of economic diplomacy and multilateral economic relations at the Indian Foreign Ministry, Abhishek Singh, who in turn presented the depositary confirmation.
The International Solar Alliance was established through the joint efforts of India and France towards working together to combat climate change and harness solar energy resources.
