Armenian Deputy FM presents Crossroads of Peace project to Spain’s new ambassador

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 19, ARMENPRESS. Spain’s new Ambassador to Armenia Ricardo Martínez Vázquez has presented the copy of credentials to Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan.
The Armenian Deputy FM congratulated Ambassador Vázquez on taking office and wished him productive work in implementing his responsible mission, the foreign ministry said in a readout.
Highlighting the traditionally friendly relations between Armenia and Spain, Hovhannisyan expressed certainty that the Ambassador will make maximum efforts in the direction of strengthening and developing the cooperation between the two countries.
Issues pertaining to the bilateral and multilateral agenda were discussed at the meeting. Both sides attached importance to enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Deputy FM Hovhannisyan presented Armenia’s positions regarding the normalization with Azerbaijan, as well as the Crossroads of Peace project.
The sides exchanged views on international and regional issues.
