YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS. Exports from Armenia to the United States in January-October 2024 grew 25% and amounted to 50,2 million dollars, Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan has said.
In a statement on social media, Papoyan said the exports to the U.S. were mostly jewelry, alcoholic drinks, tobacco, alcoholic beverages , water and aerial vehicles (devices).
“Nevertheless, the total trade turnover has decreased 59%, because imports dropped abruptly, in particular, car imports from the U.S. dropped 3,5 times or by 442 million dollars,” he added.
