National Academy of Sciences delegation visits border area with defense minister

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 9, ARMENPRESS. A delegation of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS), led by NAS President Ashot Saghyan, has visited the border area together with Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan.
The visit’s purpose was to get acquainted with the course of the ongoing work in the border and rear protection bases, the defense ministry said in a press release.
The delegation was composed of the directors of NAS institutes, academicians, and representatives of the academy leadership.
Minister Papikyan briefed the delegation on the implemented work and answered the scientists' questions.
