Armenian Ambassador, Electoral Commission delegation visit U.S. polling stations

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 6, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Ambassador to the U.S. Lilit Makunts participated in a series of visits to polling stations in Washington D.C. and Virginia on U.S. 2024 Election Day.

The visit was organized by the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) and included a delegation from Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission, headed by Chairman Vahagn Hovakimyan, the embassy said in a press release.

The delegation observed the voting process at three polling locations, gaining firsthand experience of U.S. election techniques, including the role of technology, as well as voting procedures․
