YEREVAN, 5 NOVEMBER, ARMENPRESS. Armenia's new Ambassador to Russia Gurgen Arsenyan on Tuesday presented his credentials to Russian President Vladimir Putin. The ceremony took place in the Kremlin.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, President Putin welcomed Ambassador Arsenyan during his address to the heads of diplomatic representatives.
He expressed satisfaction that the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan effectively engaged in discussions on key issues concerning the establishment of lasting peace during the BRICS+ summit held in Kazan.
