Alexander Lazaryan wins European U20 Weightlifting Championship

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 2, ARMENPRESS. At the European Junior (U20) and U23 Championships of weightlifting held in Poland, Armenian representative Alexander Lazaryan, competing in the 102 kg weight category in the Under-20 division, successfully lifted 145 kg, 150 kg, and 154 kg in the snatch with three successful attempts. He won a minor bronze medal in this exercise.

In the clean and jerk, Alexander Lazaryan lifted 186 kg, 190 kg, and 193 kg, winning a minor gold medal in this event. Weightlifter Alexander Lazaryan became the European Junior Champion with a total result of 347 kg.
