President Vahagn Khachaturyan recalls and appoints new ambassadors

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 31, ARMENPRESS. The President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan has issued decrees recalling and appointing ambassadors to several countries.

According to the Presidential Office, Arsen Avagyan has been recalled from his post as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ruben Kharazyan from Turkmenistan, and Tigran Gevorgyan from the Syrian Arab Republic and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Per the corresponding decrees, Grigor Hakobyan has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Islamic Republic of Iran (with residence in Tehran). Arsen Avagyan has been appointed Ambassador to Turkmenistan, ( residence in Ashgabat), and Ruben Kharazyan as Ambassador to the Syrian Arab Republic (residence in Damascus).
