Armenia’s Narek Mkrtchyan wins gold at European U20 and U23 weightlifting championships

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 31, ARMENPRESS. Armenian weightlifter Narek Mkrtchyan has won gold at the 81kg category men’s division in the U20 and U23 European weightlifting championships in Poland. 

He won gold with a total result of 341kg (150 snatch and 191 clean and jerk).

Meanwhile, Karen Margaryan won bronze in the U23 championship’s 81kg division with a result of 333kg (150+183).
