Armenia-Georgia defense cooperation discussed in Yerevan

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 23, ARMENPRESS. On October 23, the Minister of Defense of Armenia Suren Papikyan received the Ambassador of Georgia George Sharvashidze, on the occasion of the appointment of the new Defense Attaché.

Minister Papikyan congratulated the newly appointed Defense Attaché of Georgia to Armenia, Lt. Col. Teimuraz Maisuradze, wishing him success in his efforts to further develop and strengthen cooperation between the defense ministries of both countries, the defense ministry said in a readout.

The meeting also included discussions on the progress and future prospects of Armenia-Georgia defense cooperation, as well as an exchange of views on regional security and international developments.
