Secretary Grigoryan, US President's Special Assistant address Armenian-Azerbaijani relations

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 22, ARMENPRESS. On October 22,  Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, received Michael Carpenter, Special Assistant to the U.S. President and Director of European Affairs at the National Security Council.

According to Grigoryan's office, the two officials discussed a wide range of issues related to Armenian-American bilateral relations, including the implementation of previously reached agreements and potential areas for further cooperation.

The source also noted that the meeting addressed the regional and extra-regional security situation, focusing on the negotiation process for the settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations. Grigoryan reiterated Armenia's readiness to sign a peace treaty with Azerbaijan as soon as possible.
