Yerevan and Baku offered 3+3 platform to complete peace treaty, says Russia's Lavrov

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 18, ARMENPRESS. Russia, Türkiye and Iran have proposed that Azerbaijan and Armenia use the 3+3 platform to finalize work on a peace treaty, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said while summarizing the outcomes of the ministerial meeting of the 3+3 platform in Istanbul.

"We (Russia), along with the Turks and Iranians, have proposed to our partners, Yerevan and Baku, to use the 3+3 platform to complete the work on the peace treaty," the Russian Foreign Minister stated.

Lavrov added that during the meeting, the preparations and foundations established within the framework of the trilateral efforts involving Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan were also recalled.
