Armenian Parliament Committee to discuss Armenia-Azerbaijan border delimitation regulation on October 21

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 10, ARMENPRESS. The Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly of Armenia will debate the regulation of the commissions on the delimitation of the state border between Armenia and Azerbaijan on October 21.

Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Armenian commission for border delimitation, Mher Grigoryan will present the draft titled "Regulations on the Joint Activities of the Commission on State Border Delimitation and Border Security Issues between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Commission on State Border Delimitation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia."

The regulation governing the joint activities of the Armenian and Azerbaijani demarcation commissions was signed on August 30, 2024. On September 5, the Armenian government discussed and approved the regulation before sending it to the Constitutional Court. On September 26, the Constitutional Court declared the regulation compliant with the Constitution.
