YEREVAN, OCTOBER 2, ARMENPRESS. Many countries used the Nagorno-Karabakh issue as a rope around Armenia's neck, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated during a question-and-answer session in the National Assembly.

"Many countries have used the Nagorno-Karabakh issue as a rope around Armenia's neck. The content of the packages of 'compromises' and 'concessions' that have been placed on the negotiation table since August 2016 implied that the Republic of Armenia should not exist.

"The package that existed as of August 2016 stated the following: Armenia should not exist, and the rope around Armenia's neck should be stretched and tied somewhere nearby," Pashinyan said.
