Armenia fully supports Iranian involvement in EEU, says Pashinyan

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 1, ARMENPRESS. Iran’s involvement in cooperation with the EEU expands opportunities for economic partnership and enjoys Armenia’s full support, PM Nikol Pashinyan said at the EEU Intergovernmental Council session.

“Today we will have an enlarged format discussion, and our colleagues from Iran and Uzbekistan have joined us. I’d like to welcome the First Vice President of Iran Mohammad Reza Aref. Iran’s involvement in cooperation with the EEU undoubtedly expands opportunities for economic partnership and enjoys our full support. On behalf of the members of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, I’d like to also welcome the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov. Today the signing of the Eurasian Economic Commission-Uzbekistan 2024-2026 joint action plan is also expected, which will contribute to enhancement of trade and development of economic cooperation. I’d like to also thank the Cuban delegation,” Pashinyan said.
