Armenia has all prospects to become EU member, says defense minister of Cyprus

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS. Cyprus will continue to support Armenia’s efforts to have closer cooperation with the European Union, Minister of Defense of Cyprus Vasilis Palmas has said.

“We believe that Armenia’s commitment to the rule of law and transparent government, democratic reforms are fully in line with the EU values and principles. With its presence in the European family, Armenia will have its unique role in peace and stability in the region. We are sure that you have all prospects to become a reliable and dignified member and partner of the European family,” Palmas said in Yerevan after a meeting with his Armenian counterpart Suren Papikyan.
