Relations with Cyprus can contribute to Armenia’s integration processes in EU framework – defense minister Papikyan

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan has praised Cyprus for its support to the relations with EU organizations and its member states.

“The Armenian-Cypriot ties can contribute to Armenia’s integration processes within the framework of the organization,” Papikyan said after a meeting with Minister of Defense of Cyprus Vasilis Palmas.

Papikyan said he discussed with Palmas issues of mutual interest.

“Such discussions will be continuous and will contribute to the security and defense of our peoples. I’d like to thank my colleague for visiting Armenia and for the productive and direct discussions…We will do our utmost to convey new quality to our military, military-technical cooperation and to jointly withstand the new security challenges,” Papikyan said.
