PM Pashinyan attends opening of general discussions at 79th UN General Assembly

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 24, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the opening of the general discussions of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

According to the Prime Minister's office, the session commenced with a welcoming ceremony for the heads of state attending the assembly, during which UN Secretary-General António Guterres delivered his greetings.

During the opening of the session, speeches were delivered by the President of the UN General Assembly Philémon Yang, UN Secretary-General António Guterres, President of Brazil Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, and President of the United States Joe Biden.

The source stated that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is scheduled to hold several bilateral meetings with colleagues from various countries today.
