India ready to strengthen friendship and cooperation with Armenia – President Droupadi Murmu

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 23, ARMENPRESS. President of India Droupadi Murmu has sent greetings to Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan on the occasion of the Armenian Independence Day.

In the message, President Murmu, on behalf of the Indian government and people, offered warm greetings and best wishes to President Khachaturyan and the friendly Armenian people.

The Indian President said that the deep friendship between the two countries and peoples is anchored on common history and mutual respect, and is prospering in various areas.

“India is ready to further strengthen friendship by promoting bilateral cooperation and economic ties, as well as direct contacts between citizens of our countries. I am sure that the mutually-beneficial bilateral and multilateral relations will continue to strengthen and serve the interests of our peoples,” the President of India said, wishing peace, development and prosperity.
