Prime Minister Pashinyan extends condolences to Iranian leaders on coal mine explosion

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 23, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent condolence messages to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and President Masoud Pezeshkian, in connection with the tragic incident that took place in the coal mine of the Khorasan Province of Iran, the Prime Minister's Office said in a press release. 

The message addressed to the Supreme Leader of the Iranian Islamic Revolution says,

"Your Eminence,

I am shocked by the tragic incident that took place in the coal mine of Khorasan Province of Iran, claiming numerous lives.

On behalf of the government and people of the Republic of Armenia, I offer my condolences to you and the families of the victims, wishing them endurance and patience.

I wish all the wounded a speedy recovery."

The message addressed to the President of Iran reads as follows,

"Your Excellency,

It is with great pain that I learned about the tragic explosion that took place in Khorasan province of Iran that claimed numerous lives.

On behalf of the government of the Republic of Armenia, I offer my condolences to you and the families of those killed in the explosion, and I wish the injured a speedy recovery.

The Republic of Armenia and the Armenian people share this pain with friendly Iran."
