Second Global Armenian Summit enables targeted assistance to Armenia, says VIVA Foundation CEO

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS. The Second Global Armenian Summit is a platform for dialogue between the Diaspora and Armenia, providing an opportunity to understand the situation and offer targeted assistance to Armenia.

Tatiana Hovhannisyan, CEO and co-founder of the VIVA Foundation, emphasized the importance of the summit, noting that it is especially significant to her as she has been living in Armenia for three years after moving from Russia.

"Such platforms offer a chance for dialogue between the Diaspora and Armenia. Sometimes, being far from our homeland, we do not fully understand what Armenia needs most. This summit provides an opportunity to gain that understanding and offer targeted assistance," she said.

"I wish there had been similar platforms years ago where I could speak, ask questions, and understand how I could help Armenia," she said.

Ms. Hovhannisyan noted that the VIVA Foundation, composed of volunteer doctors, has been operating in Armenia for eight years.

"We support Armenia's healthcare system by conducting courses and training for doctors.

We are committed to advancing the medical field in the regions of Armenia as well, and we are actively working in that direction," she added.
