Prime Minister Pashinyan heads discussion on 2025 state budget draft

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 17, ARMENPRESS. A consultation was held at the Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to discuss the draft of the 2025 state budget and the fiscal framework.

According to the Prime Minister's office, Armenian Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan first presented the current economic and fiscal developments and the macroeconomic framework of the budget, based on which the draft state budget was developed. Details were provided regarding sectoral expenditures, and reference was made to the Armenian government's priorities and goals,  the improvement of the tax/GDP ratio, and the forecasts for fiscal policy.

Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the necessity for all departments to effectively implement the programs and measures outlined in the budget.

Concluding the consultation, the Prime Minister instructed that the draft state budget be finalized, taking into account the recommendations and observations presented during the meeting.
