France to maximally support Armenia-EU ties

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 16, ARMENPRESS. France will support Armenia in European frameworks, FM Stéphane Séjourné has said.

“You can be sure that we will support you also in European frameworks,” he said at a joint press conference with Armenian FM Ararat Mirzoyan.

“France has done everything for the EU-Armenia relationship to develop and deepen. For example, the EU and Armenia officially launched the visa liberalization dialogue on September 9. I think this is important progress to bring our peoples closer to each other,” he said.

France will continue supporting Armenia in the humanitarian area, he said, announcing 29 million euro aid for the refugees of Nagorno-Karabakh.

Séjourné said the Armenia-France partnership is deepening in all sectors. He said France will continue to provide support for strengthening strategic infrastructures.
