Armenia secures new protection system by joining International Criminal Court: Ex-ICC prosecutor Luis Moreno Ocampo

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 13, ARMENPRESS. Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev recognizes that an attack on Armenia could lead to indictment by the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Former ICC Chief Prosecutor Luis Moreno Ocampo addressed this issue during a press conference, discussing potential actions by international law and the international community.

Ocampo noted: "By joining the International Criminal Court, Armenia has secured a new protection system. We aim to understand how this system could be utilized to protect the rights of return of the people of Nagorno-Karabakh."
