YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 11, ARMENPRESS. Armenia should address its own problems, as the guarantor of security is either itself or none at all, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated during a question-and-answer session with the government in the National Assembly.Pashinyan made these remarks in response to opposition deputy Anna Grigoryan’s question about the guarantor of a potential peace treaty with Azerbaijan.
Regarding the role of a guarantor, Pashinyan said: "Based on my current understanding of the world, there is no issue faker than this. Our security guarantor is either us or there is no guarantor. We are merely a bargaining chip for those whose name we might use as a guarantor of security. We need to resolve our own issues."
