YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 10, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian parliament on September 10 ratified the Armenia-EU agreement on cooperation between Armenia and Eurojust, the European Union Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation.

99 MPs voted in favor of the ratification.

Thus, Armenia became the 14th non-EU member state to sign a cooperation agreement with Eurojust. Other non-EU members include the US, the UK, Norway, Iceland, Switzerland and several candidate countries.

The agreement will enable stronger cooperation in investigating transnational and grave crimes.
