Armenia still undecided about participation in COP29

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 9, ARMENPRESS. Armenia is yet to determine whether its participation in the COP29 in Azerbaijan would be appropriate, Speaker of Parliament Alen Simonyan told reporters Monday.

“Note, it is not Azerbaijan that is the inviting party of COP29. It is a UN event. There was a news report that Azerbaijan is inviting Armenia, which sounds absurd, because the inviter is the UN, because the event is within their framework,” Simonyan said.
